New u of c Corrosion Course

The NACE Foundation of Canada has donated $24,000 to the Schulich School of Engineering in order to fund a lectureship in Corrosion within the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department. The course is scheduled to begin in 2011/12. A signing ceremony was held at the University of Calgary on April 8th, 2011, with the participants shown below.

The NACE Foundation of Canada is a registered educational charity established in 2006 for the purpose of advancing education in corrosion in Canada. This initiative at the University of Calgary helps to achieve the objectives of the NACE Foundation of Canada by making an undergraduate course in corrosion available to the new generation of engineers graduating from the University of Calgary.
