NACE Career Paths
NACE Calgary offers education programs for members and nonmembers focussed on increasing our ability to protect people, assets, and the environment from the effects of corrosion.
From one day seminars to intensive courses, all of our classes are developed and taught by corrosion professionals with years of practical experience in the field.
NACE Calgary also keeps members in touch with education and training offered by NACE International, other NACE sections, and other relevant organizations.

Coating Inspector Program (CIP)
Celebrating 25 years of excellence, CIP has become the most widely recognized coating inspector certification program in the world. Once individuals successfully complete CIP Level 1, CIP Level 2, or pass CIP Level 3 Peer Review, they are eligible to apply for the related certifications. Each certification level allows them to perform different tasks in the field. Click here for more information.

Cathodic Protection Program (CP)
The NACE Cathodic Protection (CP) Training and Certification Program is a comprehensive program designed for individuals working in the field of cathodic protection—from the beginner to the specialist. The CP program is designed to provide a solid education in cathodic protection technology regardless of the individual's experience. Internal Corrosion Program (ICP)
This course was designed to provide students with the fundamentals of implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an internal corrosion control program as part of an overall Pipeline Integrity Management program. It is an introductory level course focusing on internal corrosion of liquid and natural gas pipelines used for transmissions, storage, and gathering systems. The course combines lecture, hands-on field testing and case studies. The course concludes with both a written and practical examination. Click here for more information.

Generalist Certification
